Jim Braziel
For nearly 30 years I have been helping individuals, families and business owners with their financial planning needs. After graduating from CSU Chico with a BS in Business (finance concentration), I spent five years in commercial real estate and learned firsthand about the lack of financial planning (income tax, estate tax etc.) that many landowners had done. Observing their poor financial outcomes with their real estate decisions, I saw an opportunity to transition to financial planning where I could help people achieve their goals.
In 1996 I met the education, examination, experience and ethics requirements to hold the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification that I have proudly maintained continuously since. I am an active member of the Financial Planning Association of Northern California and the Sacramento Estate Planning Council, and a continual reader of all things financial. I consider myself a lifelong learner both personally and professionally and enjoy continually researching and learning new ways to help my clients.
When I’m not helping my clients, I enjoy spending time with my wife Evelyn on long trail hikes, local excursions and as often as possible family trips with one or more of our 3 adult children. Physical fitness is important to me and in the past few years I have taken up yoga and experienced both the physical and mental benefits of the practice.
